The Army National Guard and Rival Interactive have joined together to create a first person 3D shooter called PRISM: Guard Shield that contains a unique mix of stealth operations and quick action game play.
PRISM: Guard Shield concentrates on the improper application of new and emergent weapons and surveillance technologies in the war against act of terrorism.
PRISM comes about in the near future with the player becoming the newest member of a highly secretive homeland defense unit called PRISM. PRISM: Guard Shield focuses on common locations in the United States such as Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, CA. When terrorist actions are suspected or potential targets are identified, players are called into action.
PRISM: Guard Shield is being produced at the same time with a game for the commercial market called PRISM: Threat Level Red. Players will find themselves in a unique gaming experience that attracts players into a reality that blurs the lines between commercial entertainment and United States secret fight against terrorism using tomorrow’s technology and weapons.
